Hull Lourdes Sick Fund
This fundraising appeal was launched last September, as reported in the Catholic Voice, as an initiative to celebrate William Wilberforce Bi-Centenary Year. We have now closed our appeal and wish to report that thanks to the generosity of those who supported our appeal, we have been able to obtain 11 wheelchairs and also 18 wheelchair covers.
Both wheelchairs and covers have been embossed with the Hull Lourdes Sick Fund/William Wilberforce logo. All of the covers and six of the wheelchairs are now housed in Lourdes and were used during the recent Diocesan Pilgrimage. The other five wheelchairs have been placed in various locations in Hull. We wish to thank everyone who contributed in any way at all in making our appeal so highly successful.
